Fashion Film: On The Road

Ever dreamt of embarking on the ultimate summer road trip? If the answer's an inevitable 'yes' then 'On the Road', an adaptation of Jack Kerouac's iconic 50's novel, is a must-watch for you.

'On the Road' charts the hedonistic travels of friends Sal, Dean and his lover, Marylou, amongst others; the book was largely autobiographical, defining the poetry, jazz and drug fuelled Beat Generation.

Starring Kristen Stewart, Sam Riley and the very easy-on-the-eye Garrett Hedlund, the film appears to effectively portray the spirit of the novel's narrative.

Featuring beautiful shots of America's vast landscapes, 'On the Road' is sure to have you yearning for that freewheeling road trip even more.



The film's first screening is on 16th August 2012, in the picturesque surroundings of London's Somerset House.
